Cubbon Park also comprises of ornamental trees such as Grevillea Robusta (silver oaks), the first one imported from Australia in the entire of Bangalore. Some of the local species found in this park are artocarpus, cassia fistula, ficus, polyalthias etc. The park boasts of 6000 plants of 96 species belonging to around 68 categories.
